I thought I might drop a link to a story on NX, soon to be integrated 
(well, availible) into the KDE desktop near you.

Sounds fairly interesting. I'm going to give it a try. Education, with it's 
tight budgets, might really benefit from this. Linux and other *nix will be 
seen by more users, which should only increase dissatisfaction with the 800 
lb gorilla. What a shame!
