[olug] Microsoft is out of control!

Why'd people switch from 95 to 98? or to 2000 or XP? Because they
could, more eye candy.. A few years ago when xp was new, my views was,
2000 is good enough why upgrade for just new looks.. Now I like xp more
than 2k. I've used the leaked longhorn builds, IMHO there is nothing
worth while in those. Different colors. Perhaps when computers hit their
point in 3-4 years, longhorn MIGHT be more fun to use, but after it's
released, a few years later everyone will have it and it'll be the
common thing.

One of the things I found wrong with this is that longhorn has been in
development for awhile now, and we have to wait another 3 years? WTF...
Oh well.. I use windows cause it's what I use.. i'll upgrade if I feel
the need for more eyecandy, and down the road, we'll have 3d floating
princess lea's.. So if longhorn helps that, bring on the horns baby..
bring on the horns.

Don't know why i'm typing this, just thought it'd be neat to comment.

Oh yeah, home joe user will want to upgrade to beable to have flashy
things on his screen, and get more virii of course.
