I've done the following:

root at xanadu:/boot# mkinitrd -o /boot/initrd.2.6.3.gz
/usr/src/linux.2.6.3#
/usr/sbin/mkinitrd: /usr/src/linux.2.6.3#: Not a
directory
/usr/sbin/mkinitrd: MODULES needs to be set to none?

root at xanadu:/boot# lilo -t -v
LILO version 22.5.8 (test mode), Copyright (C)

Development beyond version 21 Copyright (C) 1999-2003

Released 10-Oct-2003, and compiled at 15:58:18 on Oct

Compiled for Debian GNU/Linux.

Reading boot sector from /dev/hda
Using MENU secondary loader
Calling map_insert_data

Boot image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-xfs
Mapping RAM disk /boot/initrd.gz
Added Linux *

Boot image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.3
Mapping RAM disk /boot/initrd.2.6.3.gz
Fatal: Empty map section

Uh oh, Fatal: Empty map section, this doesn't look
good. Searching the web didn't turn up anything to
solve this...other than having map=/boot/map in
lilo.conf...It is there.

I re-ran lilo

root at xanadu:/sbin# ./lilo
Added Linux *
Fatal: Empty map section

Any ideas on how to fix this?

-Chris
