On the last Suse release, one of the DVDs contained 
ISO images that could be transferred to CD-R.  
Were there five ISOs altogether?  If they do the 
same thing again, you could bring five (or more?) 
blank CD-Rs to a friend who can read DVD-ROMs and 
burn CD-Rs for you, and that could be your plan B.
