I have two Motorola 88000 based VME minicomputers that need a good
home. These are vintage 1990 6U VME chassis with 25 MHz Motorola 88k
series processors and 32 meg of ram. The mainboard has ethernet, SCSI,
and four serial ports built into it.

This system will run some bastardized Sys V thing from Motorola ...
or OpenBSD. I looked around quite a bit and there are no other ports to
this architecture.

You *must* have a solid grasp of rarp, NFS, tftpd, etc, as the only
way to install these things is to network boot OpenBSD. Familiarity with
ROM monitors as opposed to BIOS will also be a big help. I got one
installed but it isn't booting due to some subtle issue with the version
of ROMs. The other one boots but I didn't even start working with it.
I've found the one OpenBSD developer working on the port to be very
helpful.

If you understand what you're getting into and you really *must* have
these things contact me promptly. I'm going to give it a couple of days
then I'll ship the mainboards to the OBSD guy if no one here is
interested ...
