Seems to me the reason is more related to Omaha not having a public
access point available, compared to the other major market areas.  I
would expect more users and businesses in Omaha to provide their own
wireless points to extend their network instead of using the closest
tower for an ISP.

According to Intel(*) the Big O beats Las Vegas and Kansas City in per
capita wireless access point placements.
