[olug] Redhat: /dev/ttyS0 is not serial port 1?

   I've tried /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/ttyS1 with minicom 2.0.0 under RH9.0 
and I am getting nowhere fast - can't see the device on the other side 
of the link. I rebooted, got into BIOS and adjust parameters on the 
serial port - still no go - anyone got any ideas?
