[olug] KDE sound problems

Hi, All-

2 somewhat separate minor issues...

KDE itself can produce audio just fine, but games such as Majesty and
Myth2 give me no sound.  As a matter of fact, Myth2 will not let me
adjust the sound at all, as if a sound device is not present indicating
that it's not just mixer settings.  I had to shut off ARTS support in
KDE control center to allow XMMS launching to work properly when an MP3
file is clicked on(XMMS would lock up until I shut this off - I didn't
yet have the ARTS plugin for XMMS - Noautun would work fine).  I tried
turning ARTS support back on, but it made no difference in the games.

Running under Fluxbox, the games give me sound.

I am considering going completely to Fluxbox, but some things don't work
quite the way I'd like there, either.
