Which is the reason that the mailing list archive software, like most
similar programs, mangles e-mail address so that it can't easily be
slurped.  Another organization I particpate on uses the same software,
and I've gotten almost no spam to that address, despite having many
e-mails archived publically on the web.

Considering that the e-mail addresses are mangled, I think we should
keep the archive publically available.  (Especially since it sounds like
there's a couple of unofficial archives that are already publically
available, making it pointless to try to hide things now.)
