[olug] .bash_profile and runlevels

Ok, I found a generic init script, modified it and put it in place - 
but won't that try to start Outnabout as a service? I actually need to
open it up in the foreground to show the board and check in.

When I do
	service outabout start
the service starts but then dies a second later. No error messages,
nothing in /var/log/messages.
