[olug] New laptop won't boot (USB 2.0 problem)

I have that same laptop with RH8.0 running on it fine.  In fact, it is
dual boot with Win2k.  Let me know what you would like me to look at and
I will tell what I find.  
BTW.  Did you get the integrated Compaq WL200 wireless card with yours?
 I have yet to figure out how to make the wireless work...have not put a
lot of time into it anyway...

I've got a new Compaq Evo 800c that uses a USB hard drive as its main
disk...Just installed Redhat 8 today on it (the install went fine), but
on
reboot it hangs when it tries to initialize the USB 2.0 devices via
the
ehci-hcd module.  Does anybody have any experience with this module?
