I haven't tried the whole XD2 install yet.  I have installed Evolution 1.4.  It has a problem with the Intermail pop3 server that cox and many other ISP's are using.

They have committed a work around but I haven't seen any public updates released yet.

So, if you use Cox, you may want to hold off for a while before upgrading. Unless you want to try the daily snapshots.

Maybe I can work around it with fetchmail...???
