[olug] Flash et al Interface Thingy

With Knoppix and Mandrake 9.2ish my reader showed up as a /sbX drive, 
with it plugged in on startup no problems, when I was plugged in with 
the computer already running it took a few minutes to give me /dev/sba 
access.
