* I am not affiliated with SecurityPosture and am posting this merely as
an informational announcement, without any outside encouragement.

I just was looking over the SecurityPosture website though, and saw that
they are offering another set of full-day training in Linux on December
16th-17th (Tue-Wed, 9am-5pm) on the UNO Peter Kiewit Institute campus.
Especially for any Linux 'newbies', this looks like 2 days packed with
valuable hands-on learning and experience I'm sure.

More information available here:
http://www.securityposture.com/index.php?CAT_UID=10&C_UID=117

Also includes a free White Glove Linux CD, a "$99 value" - very good for
security and forensics work, very minimal 'excess apps'. (I have one from
another training seminar I took with SP a few months back.)

Many discounts available, just a sample:
OWH, ConAgra, InfoUSA, Mutual of Omaha, Werner, NUCIA, NHS, Infraguard
members, Full time students, UNL, UNO, Creighton, AITP, IEEE, Omaha Steaks
and Government agencies...

To signup, email classes at securityposture.com or call 505.9684
I don't know the prices, but I estimate they'll be reasonable for the
valuable training and experience covered in just 2 days, plus a cool WG
Linux cd.

Too bad ACM, OLUG, and SANSUG aren't mentioned, but oh well... I could
fall under 'full time student' as well (and AITP) and hopefully you can
too... but I'll probably be working on papers for finals and a program
since it is _finals_week_ -- gosh, wish I could have got these done
earlier! =(

(It's not procrastination -- it's successful(?) delegation of priorities
to what is currently at hand) =)

cheers
Brian
