i much prefer gentoo.  Cpl things seem wrong here.

I didnt noticce what compile options they used.  I would think you'd want to 
mention tbis.

To achieve maximum benefits, one should be using a P4 or an Athlon XP, not a 
celerton.

OF COURSE compiling is going to take longer with Optimizations, so this isn't 
even a good test.




I prefer the ebuild system to apt or *shrieks* RPM.  This is what really does 
it for me.
