it looks just like that:
		  destination user { file("/var/log/user.log"); };

It has helped already . . . I'll look more at it when I have some food in
my stomach.

Immediate questions:
   o why do you have all udp, tcp, etc set up in your "source src{ .. }"
line?
   o is something listening on port 514??  Because nothing is on my box.
