Without a doubt, QMail is /much/ easier to setup and configure. The
first time I did it, I had it up and running in about 15 minutes.
Additionally, ezmlm (you will want to use the ezmlm-idx patch from
ezmlm.org) is well integrated with it, providing you with a very solid
mailing list application.

In my personal opinion, unless you're doing something really complicated
and odd (in which case Sendmail might be the way to go), or just need a
mail relay to pass your outgoing mail to a real mail server when your
machine is online (in which case sSMTP or nullmailer is the way to go),
QMail is the best general purpose mail server available. It's easy,
fast, secure, and reliable. And so is ezmlm. The only real downside it
has in my opinion, is its really annoying license which forces all
development to be done as patches.

If you want to give it a try, and have any questions, feel free to ask.
