[olug] Apache slow, was not Apache but PHP function call

The slow apache problem ended up not being apache.
It appears to be a PHP function problem in a PHP page.
I run SquirrelMail for my Web Mail client and put a new server online
Tuesday.
The new server is running Redhat 7.3 and the patched Apache server and the
latest SquirrelMail package.
The delay occurs in the login page due to a PHP function call trying to
destroy session info before a session is even created.
The package runs fine with the function commented out.
The delay was for 189 seconds.
This matches a search for Windows DNS delay timeouts.

I first thought it was a DNS or network error cause by my ISP.
They claimed everything was fine.

It appears to be that the newer PHP was the issue.
Not Apache.
