Have you run lsmod to see if the nic card was loaded??? If it is, I had to
modify the ifup script in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts.

I added -dDCB to the DHCPCDARGS around line 104.   COx requires the -B
Broadcast option.  Not really sure if the others are neccessary.

Thanks to everyone, I got redhat 7.3 going.  But! Like redhat 7.2 I can't
get
the network going.
I get more info this time with this ver though.  My fault I'm sure.

In boot up it never activates eth0.  It's set dhcp because i'm on cox
internet.  Every setting I can find is set eth0 but I can't get it to
activate.  I don't know but I'm pretty sure the nic card is there?
The nic card is 3com and there is another one smc ultra but it's not setup
in
linux at all and from past experience I dont' think I can get it setup ....
