I am using the kernel automounter.
/usr/sbin/automount /mnt/net file /etc/auto.net

</etc/auto.net>
#dvd -fstype=iso9660,ro,user :/dev/hdc
#cdr -fstype=iso9660,ro,user :/dev/cdr
#mp3 -fstype=vfat,umask=002,gid=103 :/dev/hda8
#nt  -fstype=ntfs :/dev/hda1
#floppy -fstype=auto :/dev/fd0
#backup -fstype=reiserfs :/dev/hdb1
teklady -fstype=smbfs,username=Administrator,password=xxxx ://hostname/Jpg's
camera -fstype=vfat,umask=002,gid=103 :/dev/sda1

Then cd /mnt/net/teklady
