I can only agree, Suse is awesome.  I tried red hat, and caldera, and ony
Suse could find my graphics system, I had one question to tech support, and
they responded with the fix, (it was on the support database) in 24 hrs.  I
have an IBM Netvista X40i 633 Celeron, 10 Gb HDD, 128 PC133 RAM, NO serial,
Parallel, or legacy ports at all, only USB.  Infrared works on my palm, I
just need to find a Linux based organizer package, and I'm ready to break
all my windows.

    Just wanted to post some excitement reguarding linux and the lack on 
need for microsoft products.   I have been playing with linux for the 
past year.  It's been a fun learning experience for sure.

Anyway, as with most people being reluctant to use it,  for the reasons 
of familure products they are using.   I was the same at the beginning 
but was told there are many things available.  

I tried several different versions of linux looking for something I 
liked only to find out that it is still "Linux"  Kind of a funny thing 
to learn I guess.  I recently installed my lasted dist s.u.s.e. and 
figured I would try to get all my accessories attached..  Like 
handsrping visor, archos 20 mp2 player and my new Sony  cybershot 
dsc-p50 camera.  

You know the feeling when you have done something that is awesome and 
there is no one around to hear you yelling YES! cause it works. Well it 
happend.

Just wanted to say thanks for the help, (even though I am mostly in the 
background watching and reading) from all the sources.
