[olug] D-Link DFE-530TX+ NICs and Linux?

Don,

I have setup my Linux box as a local server to provide a firewall and give
access to the internet through my cable modem.

Once I got the hardware issues worked out it was easy. I am using Mandrake
8.0 to do it. I used the wizards that they have to setup net access and
share the connection. I also used the wizard to setup a 'tiny firewall'.

Haven't done anything with VNC at home tho.

Enjoy!
