Most new systems come with either a pair of 64s or a 128 :)

There are 2 things, I think, that caused the demise of the 16 & 32 MB
sticks:

1) Demand - as prices come down, who wants to get a 32 MB stick when a
128 MB stick is $20 or less?
2) Cost of manufacturing the things - at some point it probably came to
cost just as much to make a 32 as it does to make a 64.

I don't know - it was sometime this year.
