[olug] More on Sound card problem

OK some quick thoughts
1. it is common for mixers to default to no volume.  Make sure your volume is up.
2. Just realized if your getting a permissions issue maybe the device isn't set to correct parameters.  You can run as root as a work around but you will probalby want to open up permissions on dsp.  Maybe make a sound group or something.
