[olug] Java?

CSG officially only allows Microsoft desktops. My management has allowed the
4 of us to dual boot because we argued it would make us more efficient. The
corporate LAN team is essentially looking the other way.

We're web-enabling our mainframe billing system for external clients.

Dave, one of my co-workers, said that JBoss has significantly improved over
the last year he's played with it. Said he didn't care for it a year ago.
I started messing with it in July and
it seems like a reasonable App Server. I read a review about a month ago
in Java-Pro that suggested it performs almost as good as WebLogic. In my playing
with it, I've found it very easy to get EJBs deployed to it.
