In context (a context I failed to note earlier), Windows XP and IIS will be 
"much more secure" than previous products that pretty much leave your system 
open to anyone on the internet to do anything they want on it whenever they 
want.  Microsoft, in their marketing in recent years, prefers to compare with 
themselves and encourage purchase of their products based on the fact that 
they suck less than previous versions.  (An advantage available to a monopoly 
but not any of the rest of us trying to do marketing.)
