Use of rsh is *strongly* not recommended.  Putting it on your computer is
like putting up a billboard screaming "HACK ME!".  ssh is widely regarded
as a secure alternative.  ssh beats rsh on feature set as well.

But, if you're insistent, view the rhosts manpage.  Each line in ~/.rhosts
looks like this:

host username

allowing username connecting from host to execute commands without being
prompted for a password.

Each line in /etc/pam.d/rsh will also need to be uncommented for "correct"
(password protected, for as little protection it gives you) operation of
rsh.
