[OLUG] Hosed my system/fdisk can't read disk drive now.

Well, you aren't going to get anywhere untill your BIOS recognizes the
drive.  Try checking all your BIOS settings, jumpers and cables.  If all
that is in order, I would guess your drive is bad.  Try a different
drive if you have one.
