A note about the Macs: watch out for the 7100s because they are Nubus and
do not run the Linux new stuff (Power PC/LinuxPPC). You have to have a PCI
Mac to run the new dual boot GUI on the Mac. They will run the MkLinux port
on a Nubus box though.

Just a caution note, I have a 7100 AV and was bummed when I found out I had
to run Mk instead,

John

The PowerMac 7100's & 7200's would be sufficient.

The next meeting of OLUG is slotted for 4-30-00 (so Eric Penne
can go). We still need to find a place to meet and we need to
get somebody to install Eric's choice of Linux distrib on Eric's
machine ;-)
