Could someone help me out with a problem/challenge I am having with nfs in
Linux?
The hardware is a Gateway ALR 8300 server (dual PIIIxeon with 256M memory),
an ICP-Vortex ultra2 raid-controller with 64M memory going to a Raid5+HS
array using 11 Seagate 50G hds on 2 channels.
I am using RH6.0 on the server with a SMP kernel.

There are only about 10 clients that connect (RH5.1 & RH5.2) using nfs, and
about 50 NTwks using Samba.

The nfs clients are getting "nfs server alstar2 not responding, still
trying" then latter, "nfs server alstar2 ok". Of course every nfs clients
receives this message.

Below is an shortened version of dmesg

I'm not sure what all of these errors mean. The netstat info looks great.
Here are the numbers from netstat: rx-ok =1483639244, rx-err=0, rx-drp=0,
tx-ok=1396549959,tx-drp=14,flg=256.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

ps: I apologize in advance for posting using a windoze emailer -- it's my
only option at this time.
